IMPD: Shooting victim in critical condition after walking into Eskenazi Hospital

INDIANAPOLIS — A shooting victim who walked into Eskenazi Hospital Tuesday night is in critical condition.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched around 7:48 p.m. to 720 Eskenazi Avenue, the listed address for Eskenazi Hospital, after receiving a report of a walk-in person shot.

IMPD said officers arrived at the hospital and found an individual suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was last reported to be in critical but stable condition. Police did not provide any information about where the shooting unfolded or when it happened.
