INDIANAPOLIS – An Indianapolis woman was arrested after allegedly stealing her Lyft driver’s car, trying to slit his throat and leading police on a car chase. IMPD was dispatched to investigate an in-progress stolen vehicle on the 3000 block of North Franklin Road, near East 30th Street on Indy’s far east side, around 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. When officers arrived on scene, they said they discovered it was an armed carjacking with injuries instead.
