Indy man arrested after ramming into 4 vehicles during pursuit in Lebanon

LEBANON, Ind. — An Indy man is facing several charges after ramming into four vehicles during a police pursuit in Lebanon Thursday afternoon.

Officers with the Lebanon Police Department responded around 2:47 p.m. to the 300 block of N. Lebanon Street after receiving reports that a stolen vehicle had been observed in the area.

LPD said officers arrived on the scene and observed the suspect vehicle exiting from an apartment complex before turning northbound on Lebanon Street. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 28-year-old Christian Brown of Indianapolis, allegedly ignored attempts by officers to conduct a traffic stop and continued fleeing.

During this pursuit, LPD said Brown side-swiped an uninvolved citizen’s vehicle, causing minor damage. The pursuit continued as Brown led officers to the area of Lafayette Avenue and Windhaven Lane where he approached a dead end.

LPD said Brown turned the vehicle around and drove directly toward the path of the responding officers, striking a Boone County Sheriff’s Office patrol car in the process.
