These 16 local high schools advanced to the semi-state marching band competition

The Indiana State School Music Association’s open class regionals took place on Saturday, and 16 local high school marching bands advanced to semi-state competition.

Bands are divided by school enrollment size, with the biggest schools in Class A and the smallest in Class D, with those in between in classes B and C.

Here’s a look at the local schools that advanced to semistate in each class.

Class A at Center Grove High School

  • Castle High School

Class B at Center Grove High School

  • Jasper High School
  • Reitz High School
  • Harrison High School
  • North High School

Class C at Central High School

  • Boonville High School
  • Vincennes Lincoln High School
  • Washington High School
  • Southridge High School
  • Mount Vernon High School
  • Bosse High School
  • Princeton Community High School

Class D at Central High School

  • Tell City High School
  • Mater Dei High School
  • South Spencer High School
  • Forest Park High School

Semi-state competitions take place on Saturday, Oct. 26 at four Indianapolis-area high schools. Performance times for each school will be announced later.
