Officers uncover 187 pounds of methamphetamine during Plainfield traffic stop

PLAINFIELD, Ind. – Police officers in Plainfield discovered a large stash of methamphetamine and fentanyl during a traffic stop on Interstate 70 this week. The officers pulled over a passenger truck near the Plainfield exit on Tuesday, Oct. 22 after noticing the vehicle commit several infractions. Upon observing suspicious activity, the officers deployed K-9 Echo to inspect the vehicle.
