Taylor Swift is Coming to Town Indianapolis prepares for the Eras Tour Nov. 1 – Nov. 3

Only six days before Taylor Swift will be in Indianapolis to perform part of the U.S. leg of her Eras Tour.

The city has prepared with safety as the priority for more than 200,000 swifties who will be in downtown Indianapolis during the bustling weekend.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) has a tight strategic safety plan and will be on high alert to keep everyone safe.

Officers will be on foot, surrounding Monument Circle, Lucas Oil Stadium, and the Indiana Convention Center, flying drones, in marked vehicles, on bicycles, and riding ATVs and horseback.

Roads will be closed to keep traffic contained and flowing in one direction to and from Lucas Oil Stadium, where the Indianapolis Taylor Swift Eras Concert Tour will be held.

An emergency alert system will be in place to provide an extra layer of safety. The alert system will allow Indianapolis residents and guests to be added to the list by texting ‘indy event alerts: 67283.’

Indy has also invested around six figures to decorate downtown for the Taylor Swift Eras Concert Tour.
