INDIANAPOLIS — Ramp closures will be implemented on Interstate 465 on Monday.
The impacted ramps connect eastbound Southeastern Avenue to I-465 northbound and I-465 northbound to Shadeland Avenue. The ramps connecting Interstate 74 westbound to I-465 northbound and southbound will remain open during construction.
Per the Indiana Department of Transportation, the closures will be in place to allow crews to safely complete “sign foundation work.” INDOT expects the project to be completed and ramps to be reopened on Nov. 18, weather-permitting.
Officials have devised a detour around the construction involving Southeastern Avenue, Arlington Avenue and Brookville Road.
As always, INDOT is urging drivers to consider worker safety, slow down, use caution and avoid distractions when travelling through construction zones.
