Winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 sold in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — A winning Powerball ticket was purchased at an Indianapolis gas station ahead of Saturday night’s drawing.

Per a Hoosier Lottery press release, a Powerball Double Play ticket worth $50,000 was sold at the GetGo located at 8045 S. Meridian St. The winning ticket matched four out of five numbers and the Powerball.

The winning numbers from Saturday’s drawing are 4-20-37-48-58 with a Powerball of 24.

Lottery officials encourage all Powerball winners to ensure their tickets are in safe places, consider setting up meetings with financial advisors and call Hoosier Lottery Customer Service at 1-800-955-6886.

The estimated Powerball jackpot for Monday’s drawing is $63 million. According to Hoosier Lottery, Powerball overall odds are 1 in 25.

Indiana leads the nation with 39 jackpot winners since the Powerball contest began in 1992. The Hoosier State was also home to the first-ever Powerball winner 32 years ago.
