INDIANAPOLIS – Crews responded to a house fire on the near southwest side of Indianapolis Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were dispatched around 6:50 a.m. to the 2000 block of Belmont Avenue.

They encountered heavy flames at a duplex and quickly got the fire under control. Both sides of the building sustained significant damage.
No one was hurt, officials said. The cause remains under investigation.
