INDIANAPOLIS – As more winter weather approaches over the weekend, it’s time to double check your supply lists.
Stores in Indy are busy with people grabbing last minute items they may need.
Right by the door when you walk into Sullivan Hardware and Garden is a display of their winter must-haves like salt, straw and ice scrapers.
”It’s gonna be a matter of time,” said employee, Bob Bond.
“They’ll be in here pretty soon picking up what they need before it’s too late.”
Right now, most of their Christmas items on sale are what’s flying off the shelves, but the store said they’ve already had to use some of their cold weather supplies after being away for the holidays a few days.
“That lock freeze stuff,” said Bond.
“If you go out to get your key in the car and it won’t come open, this is the stuff that you put in there.”
One shopper I spoke to is a little nervous about the weather while she’s helping her child move down south, but said it’s not stopping her from avoiding the road.
“I mean, it’s Mother Nature. What else are you gonna do?” said Amy Collins.
