01/04/25 4:13pm EST

Good afternoon everyone. On Thursday, we discussed the possiblity of blizzard or near-blizzrd conditions across parts of the Midwest, including areas of Kansas, Missouri, and possibly Illinois.

As we watch out storm develop and gauge the final intensity of it, things are leaning toward blizzard conditions across extreme southern parts of Nebraska, central and eastern parts of Kansas, and northern parts of Missouri. Look for whiteout conditions at times, blowing snow, heavy snow, and winds in excess of 45mph at times.

For this reason, the National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning across the mentioned area from 3am CST tonight until midnight (Sunday into Monday). As our storm progresses to the east, we could see blizzard warnings extended into parts of Illinois and Indiana.
