INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity is working to make homeownership a reality for families who need it most, but as demand for its services grows, the organization faces new challenges.
Officials report a record number of applications in 2024, with twice as many requests for homeownership compared to the previous year. While this increased interest is promising, the organization says that too many applicants are being denied.
