The Maryland Terrapins battled the Michigan Wolverines in an instant classic game at the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday with a trip to the finals on the line.
Coach Kevin Willard’s Terrapins faced off with Dusty May’s Wolverines in a see-saw battle for most of the game, falling behind by double digits in the second half before staging a comeback and leading late.
The comeback was spearheaded by several Terrapins players including Angel Reese’s brother Julian, who had a clutch late layup, and freshman sensation Derick Queen, who showed off his versatile inside-outside game against a tough Michigan frontcourt duo.
