Ceremony to honor Vietnam War-era veterans

INDIANAPOLIS — Later this month, veterans from the Vietnam era will be honored by the U.S. Army Financial Management Command during a Vietnam War Commemoration Ceremony.

The ceremony will be hosted at 1 p.m. on March 28 at the Maj. Gen. Emmett J. Bean Federal Center, located at 8899 E. 56th Street in Indianapolis.

According to its website , the group aims to honor veterans who were on active duty at any time during the period of Nov. 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975, regardless of the location of their service. Participants in the ceremony will receive a Vietnam veteran lapel pin and a certificate of appreciation…
