Driver arrested after striking residence in Lawrence

LAWRENCE, Ind. — Police arrested a driver who struck a residence in Lawrence on Saturday.

According to the Lawrence Police Department, officers were called to the 11500 block of High Timber Drive around 5 p.m. to investigate a crash involving a vehicle and a residence. When police arrived at the scene, they located a vehicle that had, indeed, been crashed into a house.

The driver of the vehicle in question was still at the scene when police arrived. Law enforcement conducted an OVWI investigation because the driver smelled of alcohol and displayed signs of impairment…
