A round of showers and storms will roll through Sunday, and some storms could pack a punch.
The Storm Prediction Center has placed our southernmost counties under a level 3 risk for severe weather, and our northern counties under a level 2 risk.
Our Sunday will start off dry, but a cold front will push in later in the day and will spark some thunderstorms.
The window of time for severe weather will likely be pretty narrow because the line of storms will likely be fairly quick moving. Severe weather can be expected from around 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
One of the biggest risks we will experience are the possibility for gusty winds. Storm winds could gust 50-60 miles per hour. Hail 1″ in diameter is also likely.
An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out, however the biggest tornado threat is well to our south in southern Indiana…
