Fort Wayne, IN – Northern Indiana residents should prepare for a round of severe thunderstorms Sunday afternoon, with the potential for damaging winds and large hail extending into the evening.
According to the US National Weather Service Northern Indiana, storms are expected to develop across the region between 2 and 10 p.m. EDT on Sunday, March 30. The main threats include wind gusts reaching 60 to 70 mph, isolated bursts up to 75 mph, and quarter-sized hail. A few isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
