CARMEL, Ind. (WKRC) – A man who pled guilty to multiple charges including harassment and battery after he allegedly stalked a woman and crashed into a police car will not face any jail time.
24-year-old Daniel Castillo allegedly sent the victim multiple threatening messages before showing up to her apartment on Aug. 12, 2024 and repeatedly slamming on the front door, according to court documents obtained by local outlet WXIN. The messages included things like “I can’t wait till you die,” and “I hope you die slow,” and he called over 190 times within four hours, the outlet said.
The victim called 911 at around 7:48 p.m., after which police arrived and found Castillo locked in his car on the third floor of the apartment building’s parking garage, but he refused to exit the vehicle, per the outlet…
