Indianapolis, Indiana weather radar

Severe storms capable of dropping heavy rain resulting in flooding, hail, and spawning tornadoes are moving through Indiana on Wednesday evening and through the night, prompting warnings for Hoosiers to keep an eye on the skies.

National Weather Service (NWS) Indianapolis said 1 to 3 inches of heavy rain is expected Wednesday night with three additional rounds of heavy rain leading into Sunday. This could lead room for widespread flooding. There is a potential for double-digit rainfall in southern Indiana through the weekend. A wind advisory is in effect until 1 a.m. Thursday across most of the state.
