Indiana Home Repair Program Receives $1.5 Million Federal Grant

INDIANAPOLIS — The Office of Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs today announced four Indiana communities will receive $1,550,000 in Owner Occupied Rehabilitation grants.

The grants will be used to empower communities to directly fund homeowners of low-to-moderate income to make needed repairs on their homes.

“These grants are about more than just fixing homes — they’re about strengthening communities,” Beckwith said. “When we take care of the small things, like repairing roofs or upgrading heating systems, we’re sending a message that every home and every family matters.”…
