Large hail, damaging winds possible as cold front moves across Indiana

Meteorologists are keeping a close eye on a storm that could bring large hail, flooding and damaging winds to Indiana later this week.

Scattered severe storms are possible overnight Friday, starting around 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Indianapolis . The storms follow a cold front moving southeastward that prompted a frost advisory early Wednesday.

NWS Indianapolis said it is too soon to determine if these storms will be severe, but before we get late into the week, you can expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with isolated showers…
