How to stay safe from scams at the Indy 500

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis 500 is getting closer by the day, so while you’re prepping for race day you’re urged to be extra caution to not fall for scams.

Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita says that both Hoosiers and out-of-state visitors need to be careful. Scammers are getting smart enough to fool even veteran track-goers, Rokita said in the press release.
