Johnson County doctor arrested after prescription fraud investigation

FRANKLIN, Ind. (Daily Journal) — Local police and federal agents arrested a WindRose Health Network doctor on Friday after an organized drug bust.

Franklin Police Department detectives and agents from the federal Drug Enforcement Agency, or DEA, on Friday arrested Dr. Derrick Hasenour, a 44-year-old Greenwood man who is an employee of WindRose Health Network. Local and federal agents say they caught him in the act of purchasing 30 Oxycodone pills he had previously prescribed from a confidential informant in the parking lot of the Rural King in Greenwood, according to a news release from Franklin police.
