INDIANAPOLIS — Cameron Hunt had a dream of walking side-by-side across the commencement stage at Martin University this coming Saturday, sharing graduation day with his son Camari.
”We looked for that inside of the future,” Hunt said. “We talked about that just about each and every day. And I think he worked harder on that on his degree just knowing that we would be walking together inside of Martin University. We could see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
That light went dark as 23-year-old Camari Hunt was shot to death in what may have been a robbery in an apartment complex parking lot near the intersection of 34th Street and Georgetown Road earlier this year.
”It was cut short,” Cameron Hunt said of his dream. “It was cut short because of inside of life, things happen.”…
