J.M. Smucker to close Indianapolis plant

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Hostess plant at East 30th Street and Shadeland Road in Indianapolis will shut down by 2026, The J.M. Smucker Co. announced Tuesday.

When Smucker took over in November 2023, the plant, as well as others in the U.S. and Canada, made Hostess Donettes, Twinkies, Cupcakes, Ding Dongs, Zingers, and Coffee Cakes.
