17-year-old, 18-year-old arrested during gun investigation on Indianapolis’ near east side

INDIANAPOLIS — Two teenagers were arrested during a gun investigation on Indianapolis’ near east side.

IMPD said investigators with the Indiana Crime Guns Task Force (ICGTF) arrested 18-year-old James Dycus Jr. and a 17-year-old male on May 28.

Police said ICGTF officers were conducting an investigation in the 3000 block of East 10th Street, near North Rural Street, for Dycus because he had an active felony warrant for possession of a machine gun stemming from a prior investigation…
