CLARK COUNTY, Ind — Thousands of Hoosier homeowners have opened their newest property value assessment in the last two months and have been shocked by the numbers.
“And I don’t mind paying my fair share of taxes. I’m a law-abiding citizen. I don’t mind. But to be pummeled by the county is ridiculous,” Checheeta Courtney said, who owns the home she lives in in Clarksville and also two rental properties.
