2 Noblesville police officers and multiple civilians hospitalized after Indianapolis crash

INDIANAPOLIS — Two Noblesville police officers and two civilians were hospitalized after a crash north side of Indianapolis Tuesday evening.

Public police reporting systems indicate that the crash happened in the 3900 block of Fall Creek Parkway North Drive around 9:45 p.m. The Noblesville Police Department indicated that its officers were in the area because they were working security for a Noblesville High School graduation ceremony at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

According the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department — the agency tasked with investigating the incident — the crash happened when a driver travelling southbound on Fall Creek Parkway North Drive failed to stop properly at a red light.

Two other cars were stopped at the same red light the southbound driver failed adequately yield to. The southbound driver sideswiped one of the stopped vehicles and slammed into the other…
