Drivers Seeing Lowest June Gas Prices in Years

(Undated) — Drivers continue to see some of the lowest June gas prices in recent years. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current national average is $3.06 a gallon, down three cents from a week ago and nineteen cents lower than a year ago. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.32 a gallon, three cents lower than last Monday and forty-four cents lower than this time last year. Drivers in Indiana are currently paying an average of $3 per gallon, down seven cents from a week ago and thirty-one cents lower than a year ago. Mississippi currently has the lowest prices in the nation at $2.59 a gallon, while California has the highest, at $4.63 a gallon…
