INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man has been sentenced to 68 years in prison for his role in the shooting death of a 15-year-old in 2023.
The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office announced Thursday that Wardell Wright, 19, has been sentenced to 68 years in prison for his role in the shooting death of 15-year-old Jeremiah Lewis. Wright was found guilty of two counts of murder and robbery resulting in serious bodily injury after a one-day jury trial in April.
Wardell was one of three individuals who were charged for their roles in this crime. A 14-year-old female juvenile was charged for her role in this crime. The case was adjudicated in juvenile court.
