Indianapolis Man’s 87-Year Sentence for 2020 Violence Spree Affirmed by Court of Appeals of Indiana

On a two-day spree of violence in June 2020, Victor Johnson engaged in a series of attacks against multiple women in Indianapolis; the acts were so egregious that they led to his conviction on numerous counts, including attempted murder and attempted rape.

Drawing on the ruling of the Court of Appeals of Indiana, according to a statement obtained by the Events.in.gov, the court has affirmed Johnson’s 87-year sentence after finding the evidence sufficient despite his appeals to the contrary.
