Fishers Health Department issues E.coli notice

The Fishers Health Department announced June 20 that it had received unsatisfactory results during recent E.coli testing in areas of Geist Reservoir and the White River.

According to the announcement, higher bacteria levels often occur following periods of heavy rainfall and/or high heat.

The areas that showed high levels of the bacteria were:

  • Fall Creek at Geist Park (10800 Florida Rd.)
  • Fall Creek at Canal Place (14400 Geist Ridge Dr.)
  • Geist Reservoir (10999 Olio Rd.)
  • White River (6100 Wahpihani Dr.)
