Tobacco tax hike in Indiana aims to help 40,000 quit smoking

Starting July 1, nearly 40,000 Hoosiers are expected to reconsider their tobacco habits due to a tax hike on tobacco products, including vapes and chewing tobacco.

The average price of a pack of cigarettes in Indiana will jump to $11 with a $2 per pack increase.
