INDIANAPOLIS — The speed limit on I-465 encircling Indianapolis is about to go up.
Indiana Department of Transportation crews will start to replace the speed limit signs on July 1, increasing the speed limit from 55 mph to 65 mph on the majority of I-465.
Different parts of I-465 will change at different times. Take a look at this graphic to find out when each section is set to increase the speed limit.
