Indiana Task Force 1 deploying to Texas
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Urban search and rescue team Indiana Task Force 1 will leave Tuesday night for Kerr County, Texas, where more than 160 people remained missing after record flooding in the early morning hours Friday along the Guadalupe River.
Searchers in the county have found 87 bodies in Kerr County and hope of finding survivors was growing increasingly bleak, Texas leaders said Monday.
