21-year-old woman’s body found in White River in southern Indiana

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. — Indiana conservation officers are investigating after a woman’s body was found in the White River Thursday morning in southern Indiana.

Around 9:30 a.m. July 17, officers responded to a report of a group of swimmers that had two people who were swept down in the White River in Daviess County.

DNR first responders arrived on scene and rescued one of the victims, who was a juvenile, from a sand bar. The juvenile was taken to a local hospital to be checked…
