Indiana – An Indiana man, 25-year-old DrayIon, was arrested and charged with one count of murder following a fatal stabing last week in Indiana. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the defendant is accused of fatally stabbing 18-year-old Muhamad during an argument.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. when the defendant and the victim were inside the apartment with other individuals. During the altercation, the victim allegedly told the defendant not to go to sleep on his mother’s sofa. The defendant told Indiana authorities that the victim then punched him multiple times in the head, prompting him to stab the victim an unknown number of times.
The defendant reportedly said he chose not to respond to the initial demand, but the victim continued with verbal attacks. During the argument, the victim was holding an infant, which he later handed off to another person as the confrontation escalated, according to statements from both the defendant and witnesses.
