Rideshare driver faces charges for kidnapping mother and infant

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A rideshare service’s driver faces criminal charges after he canceled a trip for an 18-year-old mother with her 2-month-old son shortly after picking them up and ignored her requests to let them out of the car.

Francky Lahens, 56, has an initial hearing set for Friday morning in Marion Superior Court 21, where he will face three low-level felony counts of kidnapping and three low-level felony counts of criminal confinement.
