Ten Point Coalition holds training ahead of organization’s relaunch Saturday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The founder of the Indianapolis Ten Point Coalition came to Fort Wayne on Thursday to meet with our local chapter and help provide them with tips for talking with youth in the area.

Reverend Charles Harrison founded the Indianapolis Ten Point Coalition in 1999 and brought his 26 years of experience with him to the Summit City.

“What we’re trying to bring to Fort Wayne is that the effectiveness of when faith-based groups and organizations, which are anti-violence groups, work in neighborhoods in partnership with the community and law enforcement, you can reduce juvenile and young adult violence,” said Harrison…
