Most people at Fountain Square homeless camp to find housing

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — At least 11 tents remain at the Fountain Square homeless camp, three weeks after a city deadline to clear the area. People still living there say they plan to have a place to go in the next few weeks.

The 11 tents standing are only about six fewer than what was there 20 days ago, right before the city’s Aug. 11 deadline. In a notice posted in July, the city said it would help people find a place to go.
