18-year-old from Indy critical after car flips in Madison County
ALEXANDRIA, Ind. (WISH) — An 18-year-old from Indianapolis is in critical condition after their car flipped in Madison County Saturday morning.
At 7:15 a.m. Saturday, deputies with the Madison County Sheriff’s Department responded to a personal injury crash on State Road 9, just south of County Road 800 North in Alexandria, Indiana. Deputies arrived and determined the crash was significant in nature. Deputies requested the Madison County Sheriff’s Department Crash Investigation Team to respond.
Investigators believe a 2008 blue Infiniti G35 was traveling northbound on State Road 9 when it left the roadway. The vehicle entered the grass median, then closed back over the northbound lanes before exiting the east side of the roadway. The vehicle rolled and came to rest on its roof.
