INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man was sentenced to 25 years in prison after being found guilty of molesting a 9-year-old girl.
On July 23, a jury found Bahati Magambo guilty of two counts of child molestation, a Level 1 felony. On Sept. 2, a judge sentenced Magambo to 25 years in prison.
According to court documents, Magambo’s crimes first came to light in March 2025 when a 9-year-old girl opened up to a friend’s grandmother about the sexual assault.
The child would later tell police that Magambo held her down and covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming. He also reportedly threatened to harm the child if she ever told anyone about the molestation…
