Carmel woman arrested after theft, vehicle chase with Noblesville police

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — The theft of a business and a vehicle chase led to Noblesville Police Department officers arresting a 41-year-old woman from Carmel.

At 6:47 p.m. Thursday, Noblesville officers responded to a report of a theft at the Nails and Lounge, which is located at 12831 Campus Parkway in Noblesville. While enroute to the business, a caller reported that the suspect had left the scene and provided officers with a vehicle description.

Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle near State Road 32 and Promise Road. Officers initiated a traffic stop at State Road 32 and 19th Street, but the suspect refused to stop. The suspect led police on a vehicle pursuit westbound through downtown Noblesville and continued west on State Road 38. Officers successfully deployed tire deflation devices at the intersection of State Road 38 and Hague Road, resulting in all four tires on the suspect vehicle being flattened…
