INDIANAPOLIS — Mark Zuckerberg, an Indiana attorney, is taking Meta Platforms to court, alleging the company repeatedly disabled his Facebook accounts despite verifying his identity and paying thousands of dollars for advertising. Zuckerberg shares his name with the founder and CEO of Meta, then known as Facebook.
Zuckerberg, who operates the Bankruptcy Law Office of Mark S. Zuckerberg, said both his personal and business pages have been suspended at least five times in the past eight years. Zuckerberg said Meta accused him of “impersonating a celebrity” and failing to use an authentic name.
According to court filings, the attorney provided the company with his driver’s license, credit cards and facial images to confirm his identity, noting he has practiced law under the same name for nearly four decades.
