Man dead after east side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A stabbing victim who was dropped off at a hospital early Saturday morning did not survive, Indianapolis police said.

Just after 7 a.m. Saturday, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department East District officers were dispatched to Community East Hospital in the 1500 block of North Ritter Avenue on a report of a walk-in person shot. Officers arrived and found a man with injuries.
