INDIANA — The body of a 47-year-old man was recovered from Engle Lake on Monday, according to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
Michael Vinson, a resident of Ligonier, had been reported missing earlier that morning after failing to return from a fishing trip. Conservation officers discovered a kayak, paddle, and fishing equipment floating in the lake before using side-scan sonar to locate Vinson’s body.
