IMPD: Second arrest made after video shows triple shooting along Georgetown road

INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD has arrested a second alleged gunman accused of shooting and wounding three people on Indy’s northwest side.

Police and prosecutors agree that the case illustrates a daily public safety challenge that was captured on dramatic surveillance video. That video showed two men unleashing a volley of gunfire, nearly 50 rounds in a matter of seconds.

The shooting wounded three people Saturday night near 56th and Georgetown. Court records now claim 19-year-old Harold Love Jr. and 21-year-old Carlos Contreras used guns equipped with machine gun conversion devices to commit the violence…
