‘We need to do better for them’ | Indy sets record for cyclists hit, killed

INDIANAPOLIS — New data shows Indianapolis is seeing a record number of bicyclists hit and killed on our streets.

“I have not owned a car since 2010,” said Anthony Cherolis, an avid Indy cyclist.

He moved to Indianapolis a few years ago, “in part, because I could live a car-free life,” he said. “It’s really helped with my health and mental health and my budget.”…
