One person dead following vehicle crash in Indiana

INDIANA — A Frankfort man was killed in a single-car crash early Monday morning, according to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash was reported around 5:30 a.m. on Sept. 29 along U.S. 421, just south of County Road 400 South. Investigators said a 2000 Mitsubishi sedan was traveling north when, for an unknown reason, the driver lost control and struck a tree off the side of the road.

The passenger, a man from Frankfort, was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. His name has not yet been released pending notification of family…
