ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — The Indiana State Police chased down a man from New York through four different Indiana counties spanning around 80 miles.
Thursday morning, a State Trooper noticed a Kia speeding on the Indiana Toll Road and attempted to pull the driver over. After seeing the police lights behind him, the driver allegedly increased his speed to escape the trooper.
The driver continued to head west on the toll road, navigating around stop sticks and through St. Joseph County. The Kia sped through LaPorte County, exiting the toll road and heading north on SR 421.

ISP Troopers from across each county chased the driver to I-94 heading west, then northbound on SR 49. He then abruptly turned around to head south. The Kia paused at two different busy intersections, only to disregard the red light and blow through both of them. He eventually re-entered the Indiana Toll Road heading west again…
